OBITUARY
MR. W. PONSFORD
MELBOURNE, August 4.
Tho death has occurred of Mr. William. Ponsford, father of the cricketer.
The lato Mr. Ponsford was woll known in New Zealand, having accompanied the Australian team, of -which his son was a member, through the Dominion in the 1927-28 season. Mrs. Hugh C. MeTaggart, Fancourt Street, Karori, is a daughter.
