A notable christening took place at Warwick recently. Lord Warwick's son and heir could only be christened at Warwick, especially as hd is the first baby to bo born at tho castle for rho.ro than ninety years. Superstition was defied. The date was tho 13 th;_ and the baby did not wear a robe worn by hia forbears. His mother gave him a completely fresh start in lii'o iu .u new gown made and embroidered to her own design.
