ARRIVAL IN SYDNEY
REFUSAL TO DISCUSS PLANS
SYDNEY, July 16.
Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's racing aeroplane remains aboard the Mariposa until tomorrow, when it will be transferred to a lighter and then taken to Neutral Bay, a waterfront suburb. From there it will make its initial flight to Mascot for overhaul and inspection. •
Sir Charles Kingsfoi-a Smith declined to discuss his plans for the Centenary race, contenting himself with the statement: "I am hi this race to win. It would not bo fair to my partner, Captain P. G. Taylor, to disclose what we intend doing."; ' •
