AUCKLAND, July 16. Sittings in Auckland of thd Dairy Industry Commission commenced today under tho chairmanship of Mr. Justice Frazer.
During the morning ovidonco was given by Lieut.-Coloncl A. J, Thompson and Mr. T. C. Buddie regarding tho possibilities of a, market in India for; Now Zealand butter and. cheese! Later, Mr. S. TctziiciV of" Pataujahofe;, discussed trado opportunities in the Bast, especially in \ Java, British Malaya, China, Indo-China, and Japan. ,In tho afternoon the North Auckland Dairy. Conference, represented by its chairman (Mr. W. Grounds) placed before.the Commission certain matters affecting the dairy farmer, moro particularly thoso iv connection with farm indebtedness. -
