VIRTUAL POGROM
OCCURRING IN GERMANY
REPORTED. MURDER OF JEWS

LONDON, July 15. ! The "Manchester Guardiau's" Qen«va correspondent says that reports received in Switzerland suggest that something like a pogrom ■is occurring throughout Germany. Since Hitler's suppression of Roehm many Jews have been -killed simply because they are Jews. Jewish lawyers are reported to :have_ been murdered in three places in Silesia; Among the victims was Dr. Gharig, whom' the police interrogated. Eater' they telephoned his wife that his corpse was available for, her disposal. A Jewish lawyer named Schiftan was killed at Landeshut, and others so severely beaten with rubber bludgeons that they are dangerously ill. : ' Czechoslovakian official sources state •that large numbers of refugees recently arrived from Germany. Information from other diplomatic quarters suggests that-the terror is continuing.
