DELIGHTFUL DANCE
A delightful dance wai given by Mrs. A. Lambert at The Terrace Congregational Church Hall on Saturday night, in honour of her daughter Joyce. Items were given by Miss Baker (piano solos),. Mr. Maurice Lambert (violin solos), and a pianoforte duet was played by Miss Baker and Miss Lambert, and dance music was provided by Miss Meier. The excellent supper was arranged by Mrs. Baker, a friend of the guest of honour. The two-tiered cake was handsomely decorated in pink and ifeauve.
Mrs. Lambert wore a smart frock of navy bine marocaiu with a coatee effect, and the guest of honour, Miss Lambert, wore a black satin frock with puff sleeves, and a red velvet coatee. Among those present were Mrs. Baßmussen (aunt of Miss Lambert, wearing a brown frock with striped cuffs and collar), Miss Rasmussen (green organdie with wide sleeves), Mrs. McSweency (wine matocain), Miss McSweeney (blue georgette), Mrs. Baker (figured blue silk), Miss Joan Baker (pink georgette), Miss V. Beara (apricot velvet), Mrs. Watkins (black velvet), Miss D. Watkins (pink taffeta), Miss M. Eolls (blue crinkle crepe), Mrs. Sando (black silk), Miss' T. Sando (black velvet), Miss'J. Sando (blue velvet), Miss F. Meier (white taffeta), Mrs. Hooper (blue silk), Miss A. Hooper (green taffeta), Miss M. Fletcher (white lace), Miss Rowband (black laee),-Mrs. Dimcan (pink silk), Miss Ray (white crepe). Miss R. Brooker (bine velvet), Miss Xi. Henderson, Mrs. S. McEwen (wins), Miss Case (green lace), Messrs. Weeks, Lambert, T. Page, H. Rasmussen, Baker, Skipper, Carnell, L. Mills. L. Hooper, D. Hooper. Bowband, Duncan. Jack. V. Kelly, Victor, B. Smith, D.
