The High Commissioner advises the Agricultural Department by cable, London, July 14, as follows:— More movement with improved tone in the apple market. Port Hobart, Aveloria Star, and Doris Star at London discharging fruit, in good condition. Current prices are:—Ballarat and Stark. 6s 6d to 8s; Delicious, 6s to 8s 6d; Dougherty. Ss to 11s; Dunn's Favourite, 6s to 7s 6d; Granny Smith, 9a to 14s; Jonathan and Rome Beauty, 7s to 9s; Eokewood and Statesman, 7s to 10s; Stunner, 7s to 8s Gd; Tasma, 6s to 9s; Pioneer, Gs to Ss; Yates, 9s; Frimley. 8s to 9s.
