PURCHASE IN NORWAY
COMPLETE WHALING FLEET
United Press Association—By Electric Teleerr.ph—Copyright. (Received June 22, 2 p.m.) OSLO, June 21. A Japanese company has purchased a Norwegian ■whaling company's floating factory Antarctic, and also four whalers, for £50,000.
The Antarctic is the old New Zealand Shipping Company's Opawa, 9593-tons, built in 1906-by Denny, of Dumbarton, and purchased by the Hvalfangcrlsk Antarctic Association, in Tonsberg. .:
