NO ART UNION PERMIT YET
A report has been published in Auckland that the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. J. A. Young) has granted a permit for an art union for the purpose of raising funds to finance a New Zealand entry in the Melbourne Centenary air race. Speaking to a Post reporter this afternoon, Mr. Young said that up to the present no such licence had been granted, and it would not be granted until the promoters agreed to the conditions which had been laid down by him.

LONDON, May 30. The Royal Aero Club has received a further eight entries for the Air Race, but is not. releasing details at present. •
