PROTEST AGAINST CLOSING

CHRISTCHUECH, This. Day. A strong protest against the imminent closing of the School of Forestry at Canterbury College was passed at a meeting of the advisory committee on tree-painting in North- Canter-bury.-A _s'ub-cominittee was appointed to organise a. Dominion-wide protest against the failure of the Government to provide an adequate grant to enable the valuable work of the school to be continued. '•
