FREMANTLE, This Day
Mr. Prank Watson, Continental bu*yer for Melbourne textile merchants and shippers, returning from England, described recent progress iv Europe in the manufacture of synthetic textiles. Ho said: 'A sample of 'merino' synthetic wool shown me by a German caused rue more alarm than the Paris riots. The appearance and 'handle' were perfect. The wool possesses many qualities which previously tho manufacturer of synthetic wool was unable to produce, but apparently those difficulties have been overcome."
