MEAT EXPORTS TO BRITAIN
The Kew Zealand 3\Teat Producers' Board is advised by cable from its London office that the shipments from Australia and South America to the United Kingdom during the first half of .March were as follows:—Australia: Mutton carcasses 92,824; lamb, 204,468; beef, quarters, 38,045.- South America: Mutton carcasses, 36,839; lamb, 225,233; beef (frozen) quarters. 1839, (oUllldj n.ta.sot. included, in the South jimerican figures are 129,309 carcasses of lamb and 17,341 carcasses of mutton shipped from . Patagonia The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the same period were as follows:—Mutton carcasses. 105,816; lamb, 362.245; beef, quarters. 12,970.
Shipments from South America to the Continent of .Europe .'during the same period were nil.
