NORTH ISLAND TOURNEY.
(Special to the "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day.; . Play commenced yesterday morning in the North Island rinks bowling tourney, which. is being conducted: by the Manawatu Bowling Centre on the five city greens. Three games in the sectional play, -which, extends over; three days, were completed. Fifty-two links, many from outside centres, are competing, and only those rinks with six of more wins will be able to qualify for post-section play.
