CENTRE RINKS
EASTER TOURNAMENT
Thirty-six riuks are participating in the Wellington Bowling Centre's Easter tournament, and,' but for counter attractions, the entry would have been much larger, this being- the first occasion for many years that the centre has conducted a links' tournament at Easter. Play in the three sections, twelve rinks *in each section, commenced yesterday, when conditions, except for the keenness of the atmosphere, ivere splendid. Each rink played three games, and with competition keen, there were not many to come through the day unbeaten. : Those to register three wins were:—Xasmith .(Karon) in section A, Adams (Karori) a nu x'riddle (Island Bay) m section B, and Armifc (Karori) and Brackenridge (Lyall Bay) in section (L JJetore the post-section play is reached however, each rink will have sis m6re games.
