THE NEXT STEPS
(British Official Wireless..) i (Received March 29, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, March 2S. Mr. Arthur Henderson, Chairman of the Disarmament Conference, called on the Foreign Secretary, Sir John Simon, who wa's accompanied by Mr. Anthony Eden, at the House of Commons this afternoon and discussed questions connected with the next meeting of the Bureau or Steering Committee of the General Commission of Conference. It will bo recalled that the Bureau was instructed to prepare a clean draft of the British draft convention, incorporating modifications contained in documents which have since been exchanged between the Governments. These docu J meiits include the recent British memorandum. At its last meeting in London in February the Bureau adjourned until April 10 at the latest and it is understood that a meeting is now being summoned to take place on. that date.
