"EIGHTS" ROWING.
The interprovincial eight-oar championship of New Zealand will be rowed on the Ngahauranga-Petone course on Easter Saturday. Teams from all parts of the Dominion will be competing, and it is anticipated that the championship will be very closely contested. Full provision has been made for the public to follow the race, and special trains are scheduled to leave Wellington at 2.35 p.m. and 2.40 p.m. On Saturday night, following the championship, an "Eights" Rowing Joy ! Night will be held in the Main Town Hall. Elaborate arrangements have been mads for the occasion,-and there is e\-ery indication that it will prove to be a.'great success.
