PAHU'S NEW COLOURS
When . Pahu steps out to contest the Kawa Kawa Hurdles at Feilding on Saturday he will carry new colours, those o£ his present trainer, C. Pritchard, who holds a half-interest in-him with a Wellington sportsman. Until recently Pahu was held on lease by A. Goodman, but Goodman relinquished his interest when his former patron Mr. J. L. McMillan desired to sell him. Pahu is well at present, and he looks reasonably handicapped in Saturday's race. The partnership that will race Pahu also owns the two unrated jumpers in Pritcha'rd's stable, the gelding by Lueullus from a Spalpeen mare and the gelding by Glen Albyn from a Formative mare. The Lueullus gelding, who in now showhiji quite a lot of promise in his schooling, will be taken north with Pahu and left at Pahnerston Xorth to qualify with'the Manawatu Hunt. A Chinese name, Kwidzo, meaning good luck, has becu selected for him.
