_ In recording the good work.done by Miss Gray, hon. secretary of the Lower Hutt branch,of the JJed Cross Society, the annual report stated that employment had been found for 'over fifty girls, and that before Christmas there was not one girl on the books out of work. The demand now seemed to be greater than the supply.
