TRU-COLOUR FILM.
There was a large attendance of shareholders at the third ■ annual meeting of Tru-Colour Film, Ltd:, held yeeterday. The chairman of directors (Mr. K. A. .Glen) reported that during the year highly satisfactory development work bad been carried put with both the cinematograph and still processes. In addition to the patents of less important counti-ies, actual deeds of. letters patent for the cine patent in the following countries had been received: United States of America, Great Britain, France, Italy, Australia, and Xew Zealand. During the evening>arnp]es of work done by the still photography process were exhibited, and shareholders expressed surprise- at the results obtained. The retiring directors, Messrs.: ft. A. Glen and J. G. Lancaster; were re-elected. Jlr. K. E. Harding was also, elected to the directorate. . • .
The returns.from-fur farming, including both live foxes and pelts, in Prince Edward Island,: Canada, are estimated at 2,500,000 dollars in 1933. I The people'of Britain1 paid taxes at the rate of £16 8s per head in the financial year ended March 31 last. In France the current figure, is £9 10s: in America,. £4 19s; and in Germany, £5 15s.
