FEILDING SALE.
At Feilding on Wednesday, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., had an average entry of-both sheep and cattle, owing, no, doubt, _to the off day. Prices were in favour 'of venders throughout the sale. Fat lambs, 18s 6d to 19s, small; fat -wethers* 24s lOd; fat ewes, 17s 7d to 18s 6d; ewes, r.w.r. 18s to 21s 3d; 2-tootlis 24s Id; wether lambs, 13s to 15s; ewe lambs, 13S 6d to 15s 6d, small: ■-• ■ . PAHIATUA; CATTLE FAIR. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency. Co., Ltdi, offered 1137 head of well-bred and good-conditioned' cattle of all : classes :at the Pahiatua cattle fair this week.. Buyers were present from Hawke's Bay, Manawatu, and Wairarapa districts, and the bulk of the entry was taken-by them. There, was a very keen demand throughout the sale, and a satisfactory clearance',was effected. Several outstanding lines, of bullocks were yarded, a line of 18 P.A. bullocks on account of I?. I. McLean making £7 lls; account ..Tripe Estate, 9 do., at £7 ss; account W. R. Taylor, 38 Hereford bullocks,' £7; account P. Dransfield, 5 P.A. do., £G 2s; account T. H.
