WHOLESALE V. RETAIL
The annual bowling match. Wholesale v. Retail Softgoods, for the "Rag" Cup, is to be played on Tuesday afternoon, the Victoria Club having granted 'the use of its green for the event*' So many bowlers ore eligible for the contest that quite a number of well-known players are unable to get a game. The selected rinks are:— Retail: Burgoyne-Thomas, King, Reid, Buthie (s); Maeklin, Sinim, Forsyth, El J. Hill (s); Purvis, Archibald, C. F. Smith, Wearne (s). ! ■ Wholesale: Greig, Young, Ross, Kain (s); Paul, Wright, Dempster, Mayer (s); McDonald, London, Jennings, Faulkner (s). •■•; . . . . .-- ; Play is to commence at 2.15 p.m., and the winners on points will hold the cup. Afternoon tea is to be supplied by the I Retail. ■ ;
