At the close of the case against s film corporation in which she was awarded £25,000 damages, Princess Irina subsequently telephoned to her mother the Princess Zenia at Windsor! from, her solicitors' office announcing the result and expressing delight at it. Princess Yousoupoff states that sha> refused offers to participate in the flint and re-enact the killing of Rasputin. -The couple, after telephoning id other friends, repeatedly posed for; flashlight photographs. The legal costs, enibraeing-both sides^ are estimated to exceed £.15,000. Sit; AVilliam Jowitt's brief-is supposed to be £2500 and a daily refresher of £250; and junior K.C. £1000 with refreshers,' and two juniors £750 apiece with re' freshers; Sir Patrick Hastings, K.Ci, a' four-figure sum for brief, plus r&i freshers.
