Plans were fully disi-ussod at a recent kindergarten council meeting for the forthcoming .--garden party at the home of Mrs. Herbert, If the "date arranged happens to be wet the party will be postponed until the following day. There is every promise that the party will bo most successful, and guests are assured of a very happy afternoon. The following lecturers have boon appointed for 193-1 in connection with the students' training course:—Mr. Watkin, drawing; Miss Clcro, music; Miss Burnett, Nature study; Mrs. Gren-' fc r ll, psychology; Miss * Scott, handwork. Miss Wilson showed council members avery fine collection of photos of open-air nursery schools abroad, and they were interested to iind how satisfactory other countries arc finding this type of building. Mention was maile of the recent notice in the Press in reference to the grant of £5000 from art union funds! for the assistance, of free kindergarten! centres throughout the Dominion."
