NO WOMEN TRAINERS
A A Tew York message to English papers states that women have no more chance of taking dut a training licence in the United States than they have in England and in the States of Victoria and New South Wales. A high- official of the Jockey Club said that the idea of women training horses was considered distasteful in America. Only one application • had - ever been received, and that was not granted. The application came from Miss' Mary Hirech, daughter of one of America's, best-known trainers.
