SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
As was'the case in the last series of senior cricket matches, it is not possible to have all matches in the next series commenced and finished on the one ground. Two matches are to be -, commenced at the.Basin Reserve next Saturday, but, as that ground will not be available for cricket on the following Saturday, they will be concluded on other areas. For the first.time this season the .Hutt Recreation Ground will be in use. The matches to be commenced next Saturday are:— • ■ ■
First section-. Wellington v. Kilbirnie, Basin Reserve i\"o. 2 (to be concluded at Kilbirnie); Petone v. Wellington College Old -Boys, at Petone. • Second section: University v. Hutt, Hutt Recreation Ground; Midland v. Institute Old Boys, Basin Reserve No. 1 (to be concluded at Kelburn Park).
