HOME, 'December 18. The newspaper "Stanipa" says tho only silver lining in Europe's dark clouds is Britain and Italy working together to weather the storm. The paper hopes that Signor Mussolini, and Sir John Simon at- the forthcoming meeting will discover somo means of alleviating the international situation. The collaboration of Germany, whether inside or outside the League, is indispensable, localisation of that fact means reaching the halfway house to peace.
