Iv the first game of the sixth round' of the Wellington City ana Suburban Billiard and Snooker League, contested last night, results werfe as follows:—City beat Miramar, St. George beat Lambton, Queens beat Artcraf t. The Brooklyn-Paramount game is to be cbutested later. This makes the championship points as follows:— City, 17; Brooklyn and St. George, 14 each; Queens, 13; Paramount, 12; Lambton, 11; Arteraft and Miramai-j 3 each. A game has yet to be decided betweeu Brooklyn and Paramount. With this exception the games will not now be resumed until, January 15, when the sixth round .will'be.completed, leaving only one more round to decide the championship.
