LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN

A very happy Christmas party at which a large number of members; ■wives, and children were present, was held recently in the "Toe H" Booms, The Terrace, by the Imperial Overseas branch of the Legion of• Frontiersmen.

A special feature was the Christmas tree, decorated and laden with giftsi which wore presented to the children, by "Father Christmas" (Lieut. J; Osbornc) in. traditional TObes.

The area commandant, Captain Martyn Roberts, who presided at the tea, proposed ' the toast to Captain Eoger Pocock, the founder and commissioner of the Legion. ■ Tho tea arrangements were in charge of Mrs. Smith, wife of Legion King's Corporal G. E. Smith. *

Votes of thanks were passed to Squadron Commander Lieut. J. Osborne, Squadron Scrgt.-Major Friend, Q.M.S. W. Tabncr,' and the committee who worked so well to make the party a success. Also a special vote of thanks was passed to "Toe H"-(The : Silent Workers) for the loan of the ToOms.
