Dalfiety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, report having received a cable from their head office on the sales recently held in London., Of the offering of 4364 bales, 90 per cent. were sold. Attendance of buyers and competition good. Continent auS America principal operators. As compared with the closing rates of October series, New Zealand skins slightly irregular, 10 per cent, higher on the average; lambs, 10s per cent, higher. The following is the range of prices:—Merino, three-quar-ter 'to full-woolled, lOd to lWd per lb; quarter to half-woolled, 4V6d to 9d; short and shorn, 2%d to 4%d; crossbred, threequarter to full-woolled, fine 8d to ll'/4d, medium and coarse, S'AA to SV&d; quarter to half-woolled. fine, 7Ud to 9%d; medium and coarse, 49id to 6V&d: short and shorn, 4%d to 6%d; lambs, (l!£d to lid.
