CHAMPIONSHIP SWIMMING
The 50 yards provincial swimming championship will be among the events .to be staged at the Riddiford Baths, Lower Hutt, next Thursday night. J. Blakely, the holder, will be defending his title, and among the challengers is another well-known swimmer, W. Cameron. Another attractive event on the programme will be exhibitions of water polo, in which members of the Lyall Bay Surf Club will be taking a prominent part.
