A SERIOUS CHARGE
Arthur Oliver was ordered to conio up for sentence within, two years if called upon when he, appeared before Mr. Justice MacGregor at the Supremo Court today oh a charge of indecently assaulting a female child. '
, His Honour said he was satisfied from tho reports of the police and tho probation officer, and also by a medical certificate that had been put in, that the prisoner -was not altogether responsible for what he had done. It was a very unusual case, and ho had no doubt that tho offence would nevor be repeated. His Honour thought that under the circumstances ho was justified in treating the prisonor leniently.
