King's Old Boys, 220, beat V.M.C.A., 208 (Fratcr 68, Cooper 41; Smith seven for 77). North Shore, 336 (J. T. Bush 101, Ferguson 43; Garrard five f0r,93), beat University, 172 and 72 for six wickets. Paruell, 192 (H. G. Vivian 106), beat Grafton, 121 and 216 for eight wickets (Ratcliffe 48, Angus 40). CHRISTCHURCH, December 17. A shower delayed the commencement of play in the cricket matches ou Saturday, and for the first two hours or so bowlers were handicapped with a slipping, ball. Fifth round matches were completed. West Christchurch, 306 for eight wickets, declared (H. D. Smith 151), beat Lancaster Park, 140 and four .for-109. Riccarton, 282 for seven wicket's, declared ■(Jacobs 85, JJooper 70), -beat Old Boys, ISO and 120 for four wickets. St. Albans, 223 and 77 for no wickets (Buck 48), beat East Christchurch, 213 (Brosnahan 45, Park 49).
