AUSTRALIAN SWIMMERS.
An outstanding event of the swimming season will take place at tho Riddiford Baths, Lower Hutt, next Thursday night, when the two Australian girl champions, Misses Clare Dennis and Frances Bult, will compete in a number of races. Many of Wellington's best swimmers will also be competing, and included in the programme is the 50 yards provincial championship event. For this race; two well-known swimmers, ■W. Cameron and J. Blakeley—the holder—will be among the competitors.
