CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS

DRAW FOR ALL MATCHES

The draw for the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Championships, which are to be held in Christchurch from December 30, was made on Saturday evening and is given below. Mr. D. Murray Kean, secretary of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, made the draw and had the assistance of Messrs.-A. G. Henderson, J. A. McGill, and L. A. Tracy, nil members ol the management committee. The entries are among the strongest in recent years. C. Sproule, a. member of the Australian Davis. Cup team of last year; C. Donohoe, a past Australian doubles champion; E. D. 'Andrews, the present New Zealand singles champion, and a visiting team of ladies from New South Wales, including Misses N. Hall, U. Valkenburg, D.
