GENEROUS GIFTS
A most enjoyable and profitable afternoon was spent at the. final meeting of the year of the Wesley ■ Church (Taranaki Street) Ladies' Guild. Mrs. Ham presided, and the .following donations were sent, out for Christmas cheer: Aro Street Mission, £.2.155; Sunday school work, £1 10s; Taranaki; .Street Poor Fund, £3 ss; Mental Hospital, 10s. Musical items were given by Mrs, I Janson 'and Mrs. Clayton, Mrs. Ed-1 mundson playing the accompaniments. Tea was provided by some of the members, and Christmas greetings exchanged.
