END OF YEAR PARTY
Members of the: Pioneer Club foregathered in large numbers last week for the final club afternoon of the ■< year. Decorations of soft.pink gladioli and sweet peas made the rooms fragrant, and a musical programme was given by Mrs. Vickery (piano solos), Miss Ella Pair, Mrs. Townley, and • Miss Ethnc Groig (songs). A competition causing much amusement was won by Miss Pair, Mrs. Wardell donating the prize. All were-given a piece of Christmas cake, and the president,, on behalf of the club, extended good wishes for tho New Year.
