Sir William and Lady Hunt, Oriental Bay, will leave Wellington this evening for the South Island. -' Mrs. E. L. Sutro, who has been visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs. J. H. Watherston, Christchurch,' spent the weekend in Wellington, and returned to Hawke's Bay today. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent AVard, Heretaunga, will leave at the end of tho week for a camping holiday in Hawke 's i Bay. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blundell have taken their house' at Heretaunga during their absence. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Brandon, Wadestown, will spent .the Christmas holidays at Pahautanui. Mr. and Mrs. David Allan, Boltou Street, and "their tw.o daughters will: leave Wellington this evening for the south, en , route to Edendale, Otago. Mr. and Mrs. S. Blaekley, Heretaunga, will leave this'week for a visit to Botorua. Miss Gwen Dampney, Hawke's Bay, who has been the guest of Mrs. W. Graham, Abbott Koad, Ngaio, returned home today. Mrs. P. Dobson, who arrived from Melbourne by the.Monowai to visit her sisters, is at present staying with Mrs. 8,. L. Hughes, Lower. Hutt. , Miss Isabel: Tur.rell,, who spent the weekend in Wellington with Mrs. Gibson Stott, will return to Christchurch this evening. 7 Mrs. J. A. Hanan, Avho has spent somd time in, Wellington, will leave for the south this evening, en routo to her home in Dunedin.' Mis, Horace Wilson, Bulls, will go south this week to visit her daughter, Mrs.'John 'MOore, JPenddlton,. Christchurch. ' ' ' ...... Misses Marjorio ■'and Marion ' Maefarlane, Auckland,- will -bo tho guests of Mrs, G. D, Macfarlane, Kiccarton, Christchurch, for- the Dominion tennis tournament at the end of this month. Miss Alice .
