THE HORSE MARKET.
A sale of horaes at Hamilton last sveek attracted about ninety lots. The best price was £40, paid by the AVaikato Land Settlement Society for a five-year-old mare. Good farm horses sold from £30 to £40; lighter farm sorts, £25 to £28 10s; light horses, £14 to £22; hacks, £5 to £8.
