PRICES AT FEILDING

Dalgety and Company, Limited, report on the Feilding sale held on Friday:— An average entry of fat sheep was yarded; the market for fat ewes was fully up" to late rates, and fat lambs wore keenly competed i'or, and Were sold in advance of schedule rates; fat wethers although few in number eased slightly. The store sheep section with the exception of twotooth wethers comprised only odd lots. The competition was keen throughout, and sales were made on a par with previous rates. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the Feilding sale as under:—A medium entry of good quality hoggets and ewes with a few good pens of lambs was yarded. Store cattle: 2-year P.A. steers, £2 lus; 3-year steers, £2 lis to £3 17s; 2-year Hereford heifers, £1 15s; 2-year P.A. heifers, £2; yearling jersey heifers, r.w.b,, 27s 6d; potter cows, lis to 21s. Dairy cattle: Springing heifers, £2 12s 6d; springing cows, £2 to £2 7s 6d.
