ADELAIDE, December 15. In the Sheffield Shield cricket match against South ■ Australia, New South Wales in tho first innings made 108. Fingleton was the .top scorer with 21, Bradman made 1, and Kippax 9. Bowling, Tobin took three wickets for 20 runs, arid Grimmett two for 17. South Australia in tho first innings lost two wickets for 124 runs (Nitsehke not out made 67, and Lonergan 50). The New South Wales collapse was inexplicable, as the wicket was easy, despite an early shower.
