COSTUME RECITAL
The fourth annual fecital fbf Miss Dorothy Seymour and her students, given in St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown, recently, wag witnessed by a very appreciative audience. The. programme, which was a varied"one, opened with an ensemble "The Rose of. Joy, by the children, followed by some delightful elocutionary and vocal items, character sketches, and a one-act, comedy.' Outstanding i^as a" Spanish scena,' a very:firie Castilian sfieMe.'in which -Miss Sylvia, in, the character: of Marta sang charmingly; and Miss Gwyn Jenkins was no le9s successful in a' Spanish darce. Miss Seymour delighted the audience with "character sketches.1 In addition to her students Miss Seymour ■ had the very able assistance of Mr. Sam Duncan, wellknown tenor, Miss Flora MacKenzie in songs at tie piano, and the Tap Trio (Misses, ■yaleska and Gwyn Jenkins and Jessie King)".."''
