HONOURS AT WOODVILLE
The success of Spiral and Burnish enabled the Westmere breeder-owner Mr. G. M. Currie to head the winning owners list at the recent Woodville Meeting with £130 in stake earnings. Mr. 0. Nelson, the owner of Emotion, and Messrs. A. W. Akers and J. Hughes, the joint-owners of Catalogue, were next with £120 and £119 respectively, and then followed Messrs. G. McCormick ami H. Gillman £78. D. N. Lane £0/5, T. H. Lowry £00. C. .T. Toxward £56, C. T. Keeblc £52, J. O'Donnel! £40, nnd Smith Bros. £40.
With three wins G. AY. B. Greene headed the trainers' honours list. AY. Rayncr and Luke Wilson led in two winners, and single successes went to W. D. Mcxted, W. Pine, W. I). Young, .T. H. Jefferd, .T. Sullivan. R. E. Hatch, J.-O'Donneil, H. E. Rnssell, W. M. Bennett, and R. A. Canning. Among the rideri? K. "Voitro and A. Eastwood each had three wins, R. Reed and S, Wilson each two wina, and .T. H. Mcßac, ,T. M. Pine, P. Atkins, W. J. Broughton, W. J. Bowden, H. Wiggins, and W. Hornc each one win.
