Yesterday morning she was given steady pace exercise. Whenuakura, going on the extreme outside of the course proper, galloped five furlongs in, lmin 6sec. No Doubt, who is likely to runprommently in the Juvenile events at New Plymouth, beat Haunui and Weatherzane in a half-mile' sprint in AV&sec on the plough. The Tiger looks well but is not showing his usuai brilliancy. In a gallop over half a mile he required 50% see. Flying East, who started with him, broke down. O. Cox's maiden Round Table is putting up excellent showings in his work and should not be long in losing his maiden status. ■ Green Linnet, who has been doing easy exercise on the lead, was given half-pace work this morning. Fryer hopes to have her racing during the holidays.
