NOTES
Mr. E. E. Nalder will be the manager of the Auckland team to meet Wellington in the Plunket Shield match at the Basin Reserve, commencing next Saturday. Canterbury's team to play AVellington a week later, also at the Basin Eeservo, will have Mr. E. Luttrell as -manager. It is stated that there is some doubt about A. W. Roberts being available for the Canterbury cricket team's northern tour. As J. Newman .and_ D. Freeman, of Nelson, will be required to play for Wellington in the Plunket Shield match at Christmas, the Nelson selector- will have a hard task to find a strong bowling attack for the Hawko Cup match with Taranaki. i It. is reported in Australia that D. G-. Bradman may transfer from Sydney to Melbourne. Last week Bradman was in Melbounre fulfilling an engagement with a firm there, but it was stated that the firm was merely taking advantage of securing for boys some tuition from Bradman, who was employed for that purpose for one week.
