Competency.—Aliater Wallls, Marjory Jones. ,In appreciation' of the' good work done by tlic school committee and Parents' Association, llio staff of the school entertained these bodies at a social evening -at the school on Wednesday evening. After a pleasant hour spent in the card-room, where prizes were won by Mr. Smith and Mrs. Douglas, ■ the party adjourned ■to , the supper-room, .where a dainty supper nvas laid. The usual toasts were Honoured. The headmaster (Mr. A. E. Werry) spoke in praise of the good work done by the'commit? tc3 and Parents' Association.
