At Auckland, yesterday it was fair and warm, though cloudy at times, with a fresh northerly wind blowing. A .north-westerly wind blew throughout the,day at Wellington, the maximum, gust being one of 60 miles an hour a*t 0,35 p.m. The wc-ather otherwise was fine and warm, the total sunshine amounting to twelve hours. It was fail- and warm, though mostly cloudy, -at Christchurch, where a north-easterly breeze prevailed. Dunedin also had warm and cloudy weather with a light north-easterly wind.
