"MOST FAVOURED NATION"
Norway and. New Zealand are to grant each other "most favoured nation" treatment in respect of matters of commerce, and n^/igation under the terms of an exchange of Notes between the Prime Minister of the Dominion and Mr. Hans Fay (Sydney), Consul-general for Norway, tabled in the House of Representatives this morning. , ' New Zealand on October 20 made the proposal, and it was accepted on October 27. The arrangement is made pending the conclusion of a treaty on similar lines between the respective countries, and is subject to revocation by three months' notice from either side. , .■..-.
