KARORI SCHOOL
The Karori School, which claims to be one of the oldest schools in the AVellington Province, is to celebrate its seventysixth birthday in the schoolgrounda next AVednesday. The function will include the unveiling of a memorial to' the late Kathefine Mansfield, the well-known New Zealand writer, who was at one time a pupil''at the school. Another item on the programme will be the unveiling of a sundial. Former pupils of the school are invited to attend, a special invitation being extended to those who were scholars prior to 1898.
