On her present voyage the intercolonial passenger rteamcr Monowai , has been equipped with "talkie" picture apparatus. Previotifily the ship had a machine showing silent pictures, arid the popularity_ of the ■ screenings prompted the installation of modern apparatus. Several show« will he .given- on the present trip, in the lounge or one-of the public rooms of the vessel.
