REPORTED GRAVE INCREASE
SUBVERSIVE CAMPAIGN
CALCUTTA, December 14. There has been a grave increase in Communist activities in India during the past few months following tho discovery of Moscow's plans for intensifying a subversive campaign against tho British Government of India, including the organisation of strikes, the nationalist student and peasant movements, and an endeavour to undermine the loyalty of Indian troops. • The most powerful Red groups are in Calcutta and Bombay. Agitators are now endeavouring to develop the movement in the agricultural, areas.
